Dancewear

Dress Code

Dress Code by Classes

As a dancer, it is important to wear proper dancewear. At Red Door Dance Academy we have a dress code that we find beneficial to student learning for multiple reasons. First, it allows students to focus on the learning rather than, for example, tugging at a ballet skirt that (while cute!) is mostly distracting. Secondly, when students are dressed alike it allows instructors to better correct them as a whole. We strive to give your dancer the best dance education possible and our dress code helps us provide that to you!

Shining Stars Program

Shining Stars Classes have specific dance wear for each class. At Red Door, it is important to be cohesive and for our dancers to have a sense of unity within the classroom. Doing so encourages teamwork, allows teachers to correct students technique more efficiently & sets a standard within the group. (We have emergency replacement tights in studio for your convenience.)

Visit our online store to view the dress code and make your purchase.

Your items will be delivered to our studio and will be available for pickup within 2-3 weeks.
